PsychSpace was established with the aim of increasing awareness as well as accessibility to mental health and its services. With PsychSpace, we are looking at three core areas concerning mental health:

1. Psychodiagnostic and Therapy Services

2. Education and Training

3. Awareness campaigns and Community Work

PsychSpace is an organization which would provide Psychodiagnostic assessments as well as Counseling/Therapy services for various mental health issues from childhood to the elderly population. The main aim is to ensure that these services are accessible to all, irrespective of their backgrounds. We also are involved in providing education and training to students and professionals in this field through our training programs, internship programs, NET/MPhil Entrance coaching, webinars and workshops. Another core aspect of PsychSpace is to create awareness in the community and work towards breaking the stigma related to mental health.

Priyanka Bhattacharjee, a two time Gold Medal awardee, is currently associated as Consultant Clinical Psychologist with Apollo Hospitals, Guwahati. She founded PsychSpace, a mental health organization in the year 2020, with the aim of making mental health services more available, accessible and affordable. It provides mental health services of counselling and training. She is a Certified Career Mentor, trained at Psyuni India, under the expertise of Dr. Ashutosh Srivastava

She is also currently serving as the State President of Assam Mental Health Council, WICCI, and recently she has been recognized for her exemplary contribution in the field of Mental Health by Ashiruktih Foundation, Assam.

She is a two-time Gold Medal Awardee is her Post-Graduation and MPhil; she has completed her Graduation and Post- Graduation from Gauhati University and she was awarded with Certificate for Academic Excellence in her Post Graduation from Gauhati University. She has further completed her M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology under Rehabilitation Council of India.She has served in various hospitals and institutes in Jaipur, Bangalore, Gurgaon and Guwahati, and has a work experience of more than 9 years in both clinical practice and academics.
